AUG 6: In tragic incident, two people lost their lives and other two sustained wounds after a tree and boulder fell on a tent in upper reaches of Kund belt in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per reports, an alpine tree and boulder got knocked over by the strong winds and crashed onto the tent housing a nomadic family resulting in death of two persons and injuries to other two.
Two people died on the spot and rest two were evacuated to nearby hospital by locals and Police
The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Shafi Boker and Reshma Begum, both residents of Rajouri.Jammu travel guide
Police reached the spot and took cognizance of the incident. An investigation has been launched in this regard.
