In a decisive step towards dismantling the terrorist ecosystem, police on Friday attached the property of a known terrorist handler in Palpora village of Kralgund, Handwara. This action targets Nazir Ahmad Ganai, who allegedly masterminds terror operations from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
The police confirmed that the attachment tied back to FIR No. 73/2011 registered at the Police Station Kralgund. Investigative efforts revealed that Ganai, a resident of Palpora, played an instrumental role in orchestrating and guiding terrorist activities within the region.
A police spokesperson stated, “Following due legal procedures and after obtaining necessary sanctions from the competent authority, the land belonging to Ganai in Palpora was attached with the presence of police and revenue officials.” This reflects a stringent approach to addressing terrorism at its grassroots.
The police emphasized that this measure underscores their commitment to disrupt terror networks actively. They highlighted the importance of targeting handlers like Ganai who facilitate anti-national activities.
