JULY 1: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a meeting to take stock of the final preparations for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
At the outset of the meeting, LG Manoj Sinha directed for widespread publicity of Traffic Advisory in a bid for convenience of common man.
LG Sinha directed respective Deputy Commissioners to ensure that good condition of lodgement centres and sanitation units.
Earlier, the first batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims reached Yatri Niwas Srinagar.
Brimmed with enthusiasm and swept with religious fervour and gaiety, the pilgrims chanted Bam Bam Bhole.
Speaking to TNN reporter, the pilgrims hailed the arrangements by the administration and said they have no fear in Kashmir amid the thick blanket of security.
Pertinent to mention, the 38-day-long Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra will commence on July 3, 2025.
