The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) saw a remarkable gathering during the Kanshi Ram anniversary rally held in Lucknow on the 19th death anniversary of its founder. BSP president Mayawati reported that the massive turnout of attendees, predominantly youth and women, left rival parties feeling “sleepless and nervous.” The enthusiastic participation demonstrated the unwavering commitment of BSP supporters towards their political goals.
Mayawati expressed her gratitude in a post on X, highlighting that the event took place at the significant Kanshi Ram Memorial on VIP Road. She stated, “The slogans of our supporters reinforcing their pledge to establish a BSP government in Uttar Pradesh one more time exemplify their resolve.” This fervor, she noted, marked a significant moment for the party and signaled its readiness for upcoming electoral battles.
Understanding the impact of such a display of unity and strength, Mayawati remarked that it was to be expected for opposition leaders to react with noticeable unrest. “It is natural for them to lose their composure upon witnessing such a show of strength,” she said, urging her supporters to disregard any negative comments from rival factions.
Mayawati emphasized the efforts of the Bahujan Samaj, illustrating how they are champions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of empowering the marginalized. She asserted that the ways in which party members mobilized and voted significantly embody that dream. “The people of the Bahujan Samaj have shown the entire country how committed they are to fulfilling Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s legacy through their votes,” she added.
Furthermore, Mayawati called upon party workers to remain alert against the “divisive and deceitful tactics” from rivals. She urged her team to channel their enthusiasm and solidarity towards the upcoming elections, framing it as essential for the success of ‘Mission 2027’, the BSP’s bold campaign strategy aimed at reclaiming political power in Uttar Pradesh.
Expressing heartfelt thanks, she recognized the dedication of party functionaries and volunteers across all 75 districts for their exceptional efforts in mobilizing lakhs of supporters safely to and from the rally. Their organization and engagement exemplified a strong network of support, with Mayawati describing their participation as emblematic of unity in a common purpose. Gathering support, she said, also helps solidify the BSP mission and ensures that Kanshi Ram’s legacy continues to resonate across India.
As the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh prepares for the anticipated showdown in 2027, the BSP’s rally serves as a fixture for party morale and support. With a demonstrated capacity to attract large crowds and energize its base, the BSP is eager to translate this enthusiasm into electoral success. Mayawati concluded her address with a firm reassurance of her confidence in the party’s direction and vision, encapsulating the event as a significant step towards realizing their political aspirations.
