Srinagar, September 20, 2026: Team Red Foundation has announced a significant restructuring of its organisational framework, aimed at improving internal function and community outreach. During a meeting today, the organisation addressed crucial agendas to strengthen coordination and define new responsibilities within its ranks.
The comprehensive review evaluated members’ interests and organisational needs, leading to a revamped structure that clearly differentiates executive focus areas, operational functions, and district-level coordination for more effective engagement.
Chairman Saadat Nasir Wani, addressing the restructure, emphasized that this initiative is more than just reallocating titles. “This restructuring is about enhancing ownership among volunteers and new members, establishing an accountable system that drives our mission,” he stated.
The organisation has designated new leadership roles across various divisions to streamline operations:
- Chairman: Saadat Nasir Wani
- General Secretary: Sarmad Nasir Wani
- Additional General Secretaries: Dr. Ashiq Rashid, Mufti Mohammad Aamir
- Advisor to Chairman: Abrar Ul Mehraj
Team Red’s operational focus areas now include dedicated executive wings for sports, health, donations, women’s initiatives, environmental issues, and educational outreach. Each wing is equipped with heads and deputies to ensure effective execution.
Sports: Maqsood Rather leads with additional support from Ajaz Hassan, Rameez Dar, and others.
Health Concerns: Dr. Ashiq Rashid oversees this area, supported by Ishfaq Mughal and Iqbal Wani.
Donation Drives: Saniya Bilal heads up this vital sector.
Women’s Wing: Feema Farooq takes the lead here.
In addition, Team Red has established operational functions including administration, event management, public relations, media, and financial management to bolster its internal processes.
Administration & HR: Zahid Moon heads this vital function.
Event Management: Mushi leads, with Inayat Mer and others supporting.
Public Relations: Aroosa Bangi takes the helm.
Importantly, Team Red has formalised district-level coordination to strengthen its presence in the field, with zonal coordinators assigned to North, Central, and South Kashmir, along with dedicated district coordinators for regions such as Kupwara, Baramulla, and Ganderbal.
The leadership is committed to enhancing coordination, accountability, and member participation, which are crucial for executing impactful social initiatives across Kashmir. The changes aim to uplift community engagement and build a sustainable framework for Team Red’s continued growth.
Wani concluded the meeting by expressing confidence in the newly appointed teams, urging every member to approach their roles with dedication and compassion. He reiterated Team Red’s commitment to societal service, youth empowerment, and proactive contributions to the community.
